  • How can I pay for my repairs?

    We accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Maestro, Solo, Visa Delta, Amex & PayPal via our online payment system.

  • Why should I choose iPad repairs?
    We have been repairing iPads since their release and are the UK’s longest standing iPad Repair Company; we have been in business over 12 years with our sister site where we have successfully repaired more than 95,000 units.
  • How do I know which iPad I have?
    1st generation iPads have the model numbers A1337 and A1219. The iPad second generations have the models numbers A1396, A1395 and A1397. 3rd generations are A1403 and A1416, A1430 and the new iPad mini’s are A1432, A1454 and A1455. Do not worry if you choose the wrong model, we will contact you if you have underpaid and refund you if you have overpaid.
  • Are your parts genuine?
    We only use the highest quality grade A parts in all our repairs.
  • How can I ensure my iPad is safe when sending it to you?
    You can send it in via Royal Mail Special delivery where it will be insured up to £500 or you can choose our DPD collection service where you will be brought a secure box by DPD on your collection date which is designed especially for the item. Whichever courier service you do use, please make sure you follow the couriers guidelines carefully when packing.
  • How long will you take to repair my iPad?
    98% of repairs are carried out the day they arrive and are sent out that afternoon by next day delivery. If there is any delay we will let you know but generally most parts are in stock
  • Do you need my passcode or iCloud details?
    We do need to test parts after repair so it is helpful if you can remove the passcode and icloud account from the device before sending it i off to us, so we can carry out essential post- repair tests on your unit.
  • Do you repair water damaged iPads?
    Yes! We will be able to diagnose any fault on any iPad. If you are unsure of the faults then just choose the diagnostic option on our website and we will be in touch the day we receive your iPad and let you know the repairs it will need.
  • My iPad has a broken screen but also dented areas in the corners of the rear case- what shall I do?
    Normally we can gently file out the corners to allow a new screen to sit in the unit and save on repairs costs for you. If this is not possible then we will be in touch to recommend a rear case replacement.
  • Loads of things are wrong with my iPad, what should I do?
    Don’t worry, just give us a call or drop us an email and we will assist you. You can choose our £20 diagnostic option and we will give it a thorough diagnostic test and let you know what it will need.
  • Does repair void Apple’s one-year warranty?
    Apple states that ANY repair voids their warranty
  • Can I talk to someone before booking my iPad in?

  • How long have you been in business?
    We have been in business for 12 years and have, through our first website, fixed more iPods, iPhone and IPads than any other company which is why some of the UK’s biggest insurance and corporate companies also choose us for their repairs.
  • Will my data be safe?
    We only restore units when we really need to, but we always recommend you back up the unit prior to sending it in, as we cannot be held responsible for loss of data during repair.
  • How can I trust you with my iPad?
    We pride ourselves on receiving the most fabulous feedback from our customers and would urge you to read them if you have any doubts (link to review page here) we can also be found on companies house (Fix-it sales international limited) or if you would like to just chat to us first then please call us, we want you to be satisfied every step of the way!
  • What if I choose the wrong repair or my iPad needs more repairs than I booked?
    It’s no problem at all. If you need any further repairs once we have tested the unit, we shall be in touch immediately to discuss. We will offer you the option to pay the difference and have your iPad fixed or we can refund you what you have paid minus £20 plus return postage costs and return your iPad as it arrived.
  • Will you replace my iPad with a different unit?
    No, we only ever work on your own unit and return it to you.
  • What is your policy on data protection?
    All our staff are trained in data protection and sign confidentiality agreements upon working within our company. We do not access your data or pass it on to third parties. Your pass code (if you have one set) is only used for post repair tests.
  • Will you keep me updated on the progress at all times?
    Of course. We understand how important your unit is to you, so we email you when it arrives, as soon as it is fixed and when it is dispatched so you know when to expect your unit back.
  • How do I get my iPad repaired?

    You can come to our office in Ashford Kent and have it fixed in usually 2-3 hours. Directions here

    Or if you are not local select and fill out a repair form on the Fix my iPad page, then package your iPad or iPhone carefully and post via Royal Mail Special Delivery, or a similar insured carrier, or you can choose DPD collection at the checkout.
